Pregnancy Baby Tracker ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This policy describes how information is handled when you use our mobile application and related services (the "App").

Summary

  • The App is designed so health and pregnancy-related data you enter can stay on your device, subject to your settings, backups, and how you use optional features.
  • AI Mentor (if you enable it) transmits your message text and limited profile context to our proxy server, which forwards it to OpenRouter (an AI routing service at openrouter.ai) to generate a reply. We obtain your explicit in-app consent before sending any data to this service, and you can withdraw consent at any time from your Profile.
  • We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data for third-party advertising beyond standard analytics or infrastructure providers described below, if applicable.

Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you have read in the App. If you think you may be experiencing a medical emergency, call your local emergency number immediately.

Information we may collect

Depending on how you use the App, types of information may include:

  1. Information you provide — Such as preferences, pregnancy or cycle-related inputs you choose to log, notes, appointment information, and messages you send to the AI Mentor when that feature is enabled.
  2. Device and technical data — Such as device type, operating system version, app version, crash diagnostics, and coarse usage events needed to operate and improve the App (for example, through Apple-provided or third-party analytics if integrated).
  3. Subscriptions — Purchase and renewal status are processed by Apple; we receive limited transaction metadata from Apple as needed to unlock features.

How we use information

We use information to:

  • Provide core features (tracking, calendar, reminders, insights, optional AI Mentor).
  • Maintain security, fix bugs, and improve reliability.
  • Communicate with you when you contact us at the email above.
  • Comply with law and enforce our terms.

AI Mentor — Third-Party AI Service Disclosure

This section specifically addresses how data is handled when you use the AI Mentor feature, including the exact data transmitted, the identity of the third-party service that receives it, and the consent and withdrawal process.

AI Mentor responses are generated information intended for general support and educational purposes only and may be inaccurate or incomplete. AI Mentor does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and you should consult a qualified healthcare professional before making medical decisions.

What data is sent

When you send a message in AI Mentor, the following data is transmitted to generate a reply:

  • Your message text — exactly what you typed.
  • Limited profile context automatically included to personalize the response:
    • Your display name
    • Your current pregnancy week
    • Your daily mood, if you logged one that day
    • Feelings or topics you selected during onboarding (e.g., "anxious," "excited")

No financial data, precise location, medical records, contacts, or other sensitive categories are transmitted by this feature.

Who receives the data

Your message and the above profile context are sent:

  1. Our proxy server — a secure API endpoint we operate that forwards the request and strips any unnecessary metadata.
  2. OpenRouter (openrouter.ai) — a third-party AI routing service that selects an appropriate language model and generates the reply.

OpenRouter processes your data under its own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. We have selected OpenRouter because it applies data handling standards consistent with this policy and does not use your conversational data to train models without consent.

Consent before sending

You will be shown a clear consent disclosure inside the App before your first message is ever sent. The disclosure names the data types transmitted and identifies the recipients (our proxy → OpenRouter). You must actively tap "Continue" to proceed. No data is sent to OpenRouter until you grant this consent.

Withdrawing consent

You can withdraw your AI Mentor consent at any time in the Profile section of the App (Profile → AI consent). Withdrawing consent stops future data transmission and clears your current session history from the device. You can re-enable the feature at any time by tapping "Continue" in the consent screen when you next open Mentor.

Retention

  • We do not store your AI Mentor messages on our own servers beyond the time needed to forward the request and return the reply.
  • OpenRouter may retain message data for safety, abuse prevention, or service reliability purposes in accordance with its own policies; refer to openrouter.ai/privacy for details.
  • On-device session history is cleared when you close a Mentor session or withdraw consent.

Storage and retention

  • On-device data may remain on your phone until you delete the App or clear data within the App, subject to your device backup settings.
  • Server-side data (if any for your account or AI processing) is retained only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, unless a shorter period is stated in-app.

Sharing

We may share information:

  • With vendors who help us host, analyze, or operate the App — including OpenRouter for AI Mentor as described above — under confidentiality and data-processing terms.
  • When required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
  • In a business transfer (for example, merger), with notice where required.

We do not sell your personal information for money.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export certain personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact us at pinakfaldu3748@gmail.com to make a request. You may also:

  • Withdraw AI Mentor consent in Profile → AI consent (see above).
  • Use Apple's privacy controls for data tied to your Apple ID and subscriptions.

Children

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

International users

If you use the App from outside your home region, information may be processed in countries with different data protection laws. Where required, we will rely on appropriate safeguards. OpenRouter is a U.S.-based service; see their privacy policy for their international data transfer practices.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version in the App or on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
